Small Scale Farming Organic Agribusiness Projects Thank You for Your Kind Donation Children's Eco Play Park
The EcoE Social Entrepreneurship Model seeks tocontinously engage local communities and small scale farmers in ways that build ownership and sustainability. Currently active projects in Agribusiness include value chain for Orange Fleshed Sweet Potatoes and Soya Beans Farming.   Our upcoming project is a theme park for chidlren to interact more with the earth and nature. We deploy sports, value based, and project based learning in our engagement with the future generation.

Sweet potatoes are said to have originated from Central and Southern America according to historical records of A.D. 1000.  The Portuguese are said to have brought the white and yellow varieties to Africa.   In East Africa, the crop was introduced by the British in the 1880s, but has grown in importance over the last three decades.  For centuries, this crop has been grown by both large and small scale farmers.  It is a staple in some countries like Uganda and Mozambique and a seasonal food deficiency bridging crop in Kenya. Global Soil Week 2019 (GSW 2019)

Global Soil Week 2019 (GSW 2019) opened on Monday morning, 27 May, with the two-day technical segment of the conference. During the opening plenary, Co-Facilitators Alice Kaudia [right], Co-Founder and Executive Director, Eco-Entrepreneurs Ltd., and Alexander Alexander Müller, Töpfer, Müller, Gaßner — Think Tank for Sustainability (TMG Research), welcomed representatives from government, science, NGOs, and international organizations, as well as farmers, and introduced the conference theme, ‘Creating an Enabling Environment for Sustainable and Climate Resilient Agriculture in Africa.’ [read more]
